Privacy Policy

Effective October 17, 2026

VoiceGlide works without an account. Your videos, scripts and voice follow stay on your devices and your own iCloud. We do not sell data, show ads or run analytics.

This policy covers the VoiceGlide app for iPhone and iPad and this website. “We” means the developer, Betül Üsküdar. This website is static and does not set cookies or collect personal information.

Stored on your device

The following stays on your device unless a section below says otherwise:

• Scripts, folders, takes and prompter settings
• A name and username you add to your profile
• Videos recorded in the app, until you share, save or stream them yourself
• Stream keys, kept in the device Keychain

There is no sign-up, email or password.

Camera, microphone and speech

The camera and microphone record your videos and let the prompter follow your voice. Voice follow uses Apple’s on-device speech recognition. That audio is not sent to us.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, scripts sync through your private iCloud database. We cannot read them. Video backup, when you turn it on, copies files to your own iCloud Drive. Saving to Photos happens only when you ask. Apple’s privacy policy applies to iCloud.

Photos

The app reads only the pictures or videos you pick, such as a logo, a background or a clip to import.

AI writing and dictation

Script writing and rewriting use Apple’s on-device model when Apple Intelligence is available. In that case the text stays on your device.

On other devices, the topic, options or script you ask to rewrite are sent through our server to OpenAI, which returns the draft. When you dictate a topic, that short recording takes the same path so it can be turned into text. Without a connection, dictation is recognised on the device instead.

Our server does not store the text or the recording. OpenAI processes API data under its API data policy: it is not used to train models and may be kept for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.

Subscriptions

Apple processes every purchase. We never see card numbers or billing details. RevenueCat checks whether VoiceGlide Pro is active. It receives an anonymous app user identifier, purchase history and basic device data. That identifier is not your name, email or Apple Account.

App configuration

At launch the app fetches settings from Firebase, such as the minimum supported version. The request includes an anonymous install identifier, the app version, your language and time zone. It does not include scripts, videos or anything you created.

Live streaming

When you go live, video and audio go directly to the platform you choose, using the stream key you entered. That platform’s privacy policy applies.

Support email

If you write to us, we receive the message. A message sent from Settings → Contact support can also include the app version, iOS version and device model when you leave that option on.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or rent data. The app does not ask for App Tracking Transparency because it does not track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Service providers

• Apple for iCloud, on-device speech, on-device AI, payments and notifications
• Google Firebase for app configuration and the server that relays AI requests
• OpenAI for AI writing and dictation when Apple Intelligence is not used
• RevenueCat for subscription status

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and may store it outside your country.

Retention and your choices

• Delete a script or video in the app. Settings → Delete all scripts removes every script.
• Removing the app deletes what it stores on the device. iCloud copies are managed in iOS Settings.
• Turn off camera, microphone, speech recognition or Photos access in iOS Settings.
• AI requests are not stored by us. See the AI section for OpenAI’s handling.
• Support email is kept only as long as needed to answer you.
• Subscription records are kept as long as needed to provide Pro and to meet legal obligations, including Apple’s billing records.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

VoiceGlide is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
